Family photo session on a warm summer night!
All families have hurdles. Some higher and bigger hurdles than others. This family is facing a big one right now. I had the opportunity to meet them all last week for a session at Side Cut. Mandy had been wanting to have family photos done at this park for quite some time and now she knows she needed to get these photos done.
Rob is dealing with a pretty darn tough diagnosis – he learned this past winter that he has pancreatic cancer with mets to his liver. He remains a loving, sweet father and husband – despite what I imagine is unimaginable pain & exhaustion.
Even though the day we did this session, it was as muggy as a southern summer, Rob sucked it up & the kids all jumped in with smiles to give Mom the photos she was wanting.
I can’t even begin to imagine what they are all going through, but I can only hope that these images give them some happiness, peace & sweet memories.
